December 11th 2013: The Executive Board from VISIT USA COMMITTEE Argentina organized a fellowship end-of-the-year lunch that took place at SKAL Club in Buenos Aires.
This event main goal was to gather members in a fellowship lunch and use this opportunity to drink a toast with the members to welcome the new year.
In this opportunity, Marcelo Da Cunha, chairman of Visit USA Committee Argentina stated the need that members should actively participate in different working sub-commissions, thus continuing the joint task of promotion and positioning of the Unites States as a par excellence tourist destination.
After this, Da Cunha made a summary of the actions performed during the year 2013, and mainly highlighted the creation of the new Web Site, that allows members and Partners from abroad to get the necessary information to develop or accompany us in planned actions as well as to access a private area with tools for them. These promotional actions that are planned annually shall be supported and promoted by this new Web Site and accompanied by traditional media, marketing campaigns and social networks.
Among the actions for the incoming year there is mainly the participation of Visit USA Committee Argentina in FIT (Feria Internacional de Turismo para América Latina [Latin America International Travel and Tourism Fair]) with a “USA Stand” that shall cover the whole island, and continuous Workshops and Seminars in the main Argentine cities.
Finally, he thanked the members of the executive board for their efforts, and the partners for their continuous participation and support throughout the year.
Mr. James Koloditch, Commercial Attaché of the US Embassy in Buenos Aires; Mrs. Diana Brandon and Claudia Jansisian from the Embassy Commercial Department; Mr. Enrique Banuchi, Sales and Marketing Director for Latin America of the Tourism Office of Puerto Rico were special guests at the lunch.
